Laws involving suppressors

Hello all I am wondering what are the laws involving suppressors when it comes to firearms. I know I could look it up but most of the language used in the gun law can be too vague.

Liberal Party saw James Bond or John Wick or whatever and found them too scary. Anything that reduces the noise at all is prohibited. I may be wrong but I believe you also have to be careful with 'Flash Hiders' too because some of them are called "Flash Suppressor" in the name, and the "Suppressor" bit terrifies them.
