Going for PAL in November

Hello There:

I am going for my PAL in November and I have bin looking at rifles (non-restricted) just to see what my options will be when I get my license. I just want to see what recommendations and/or advice I could get from here.

There was a few rifles I was looking at:

Rifles:

1. Wk180/180 gen or the new-ish the 7.62 version
2. A Mosin Nagant
3. A Carcano
4. A SKS preferably the Russian version
5. A lever action

Looking forward to the comments.

Start with a 22lr rifle to learn how to shoot without a flinch. Mapleseed

Thank you for the advice. But thankfully there is a range in my town that let's you shoot without a license (under supervision of course). They are super thorough with instructions and how to shoulder it properly as well as proper firearm safety. So far I have shot: .22lr, 9mm, 40 S&w, 357 mag, 5.56, 7.62, and a 12ga.

I did the same, then got license, then learned to shoot from a coach. (Well coaches, archery, shotgun, rifle, pistol) Very much different than ½ hour plinking.
