Anyone else going slightly crazy waiting for their pal? What’s everyone’s time line whose waiting. Mines as follows Sent pal app sept 2 Received September 8th …. Then nothing lol maybe I’ll feel better once someone opens it and it comes online? Doubtful I paid by money order so no way to see when payment comes out either. Mistakes were made.

You will be 2-3 months before you see a credit card charge. Then roughly 1-2 more months until the card is issued. I have seen some faster after credit card charge and some longer.

Mine received May. Still no CC charge. I’m in Alberta.

That’s brutal. My pal was Feb - July. And upgrade to RPAL was august - October.

I’m hoping that they are finally catching up and that’s closer to the new standard. I just want to be able to have the ability to wait in hold to talk to someone

Sent my application in march. Was received march 11th My credit card was charged June 8th still waiting. Gonna give it till the end of the month then gonna call and ask what the hold up is

Is it showing on the website? If it is try calling your provincial CFO and hopefully you’re in Alberta

It's a 6 month wait time. Always has been.

A simple application has never been 6 months. Even during the worst of the COVID backlog, it was only 4.5 months.

Now, if you answered Yes to any of the Personal History questions, or maybe someone called the 1-800 number to warn you are a danger to the public, that can indeed result in long delays up to 12+ months, or potentially even a denial.

I got my PAL and RPAL 3 years ago with my brother and it took 6 months for both of ours to come. Pretty much everyone I've ever asked says it took them 6 months as well.

6months then call or contact mp then they will have the cfo call you with a real actual update

Recent posted timelines seems to have gotten better. 2.5 months depending on province. Your payment may get processed, and you may see something online in the next few weeks.

What province are you in?
