In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

Just put it in a zip lock. I’m sure you have a cotton t shirt that needs to be retired into a rag. Don’t waste your money on fancy cleaning shit.

Weirdly enough, I don't personally have one but I'll ask around my family. As for cleaning it, once it gets too dirty, can I wash it?

Sure, but generally you don’t want to put oil through your washing machine.

You can wash it, do you have old jeans? Thrift store in you area? Old cotton or linen sheets or towels? Microfibre works well too.

I stupidly thought cotton was better for some reason, but since I wear glasse yeah, microfibre shouldn't be a problem. Thanks!

If that was the case my garage would have burned down 10 years ago. I think you are overthinking things! Keep it simple. Simpler the better.
