This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

I’m confused are we still allowed to bring our handguns to the range?

If you're licensed to own handguns (RPAL) and you have your registration certificate and ATT then you can still bring your handguns to the range.

There are zero changes to what you're allowed to do with the handguns you already own.

The new law simply stops handguns from being registered to new people.
