Does anyone know what the expected delay is when you answer Yes to a question in Part C? How is the review process different? Is it handled by the provinces CFO or the RCMP?

Completely depends. I checked yes to the mental health question and got approved in 4.5 months this summer.

If you check yes because of criminal stuff or assaults (I don’t remember what the other reasons were), then I imagine that would require a lot more looking into.

Thanks for the update. I checked yes for mental health stuff as well. I got a letter from my doc and wrote up an 'explanation' myself. What province were you in? And did you get approved 4.5 months after your CC was charged or after you sent out the app?

I’m in Ontario. It was 4.5 months from received and issued in August.

I was very lucky to have been processed so quickly.
