The RC's received my pal application on Feb 7 2022. Late June it moved to the AB CFO. Still waiting. When I email the CFO, no reply. When I call the firearms office in Mirimichi they don't have an update because it's with the AB CFO. Canada sucks

Did you answer "Yes" to any of the Personal History questions? This can result in a 12+ month delay. Alberta CFO is usually quite quick with typical applications. Recently people are reporting 8 days (once the CFP is done doing whatever it is they do). Or maybe you screwed something up on your application? Best to call. It can be difficult getting through to the CFO's office, so just keep trying.
