Just curious everyone. I have seen some people get in touch with their MP to try and move things along.

My local riding is Ndp should I even bother?

I think you might have a bit of an uphill battle with your MP (mine is Jagmeet Singh… can you even imagine). However, if you approach your MP from the position, not of someone who wants guns, but of someone who has been waiting an extraordinarily long time for a government service that you are legally entitled to receive, you might make some headway. MPs want your vote. They might not be willing to stand up in Parliament and vote for something unpopular with their constituents, but they’re much more likely to be willing to quietly grease the wheels of bureaucracy for a voter.
