This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

My RPAL application received by RCMP June 15, credit card charged September 1, still waiting...

Same, mine was a bit later then yours but I'm still waiting as well........while seeing quite a few others with much later timelines then us getting approved in the past like two week for....some reason? I'm gonna try calling everyday at lunch and on my way home from work because I'm starting to get a little pissed.

Mine was received May 16th. Still nothing charged. Passed initial review. I emailed CFO in Alberta to see what’s up as it’s ridiculous how long it be. Charge me at least so I know you care. 😂
