Ontario PAL application received August 4th. CC charged October 6th. Application approved October 13th.

My application was received May 4th and CC charged 2 months ago.... Why is my application still in preliminary review!!! I have no historical concern except that I lived in the US for 4 years... Maybe?

Did you apply for PAL of RPAL? Are you a permanent resident of Canada? Did you check “yes” in any of those little boxes? What province are you in? Any of those factors could make your wait time longer.

Also, I’ve heard that they’re approving the applications in a random order, rather than following the order that they’re received.
