Just turned 18 last month always wanted to own a handgun for target shooting but looking at the way things are going should I even bother getting my license?

Just do it.. you never know when it might be reversed..

A RPAL also would allow you to borrow a handgun from someone, maybe a friend or family member.

Do it, you don't want to go through the PAL application twice.

Things might change, so you never know. Plus, you could still go for restricted rifles.
