I plan on buying CLP when either my oil or solvent runs out. Is Hoppe's Boresnake CLP any good? It's the only CLP at my local Canadian Tire. I'm mainly looking for good rust protection.

I noticed you mentioned Teflon in my other comment but I wasn't quite sure if it was a troll but I guess not so what makes Teflon spray better. And what soecific brand?

It displaces water and coats the metal to help prevent corrosion. It gets in the tightest spaces

Then oil or grease as appropriate for all the pivoting and sliding parts.
