It happened. Today's the day.

After 209 days I finally got the magical email saying that my license renewal was approved

So question for you! Had yours expired while awaiting for renewal?

My thoughts are if somebody submits a license renewal and their license expires while awaiting for the renewal goes through, are they technically no longer legal to possess / use the firearms? I'd imagine transporting to / hitting the range with an expired license would be a nono.

Had yours expired while awaiting for renewal?

Yes, it expired 3 months after I submitted

I'd imagine transporting to / hitting the range with an expired license would be a nono.

Also correct. They can stay in the safe, but you literally can't do anything with them.
