This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

pal finally got approved and issued sent April 26 received may 3rd initial review aug 3rd issued sept 30 BC so excited

Damn, that’s a long timeline. Do you remember how long it took before your application showed up in the online tracker? I sent mine in 6 weeks ago and still nothing.

it was 90 days exactly when it showed up, received may 3rd , cc charged+initial review+ on iws Aug 3rd

way too long but happy it's finally over
