Just got back from the range for the first time, put about 40-50 rounds through my SKS (non corrosive) and shotgun, and about 200 through my 10/22.

How thoroughly do I need to clean them? Just run a patch through the barrels and wipe the bolts? Should I clean triggers too? Gas system?

Who says you need to clean them at all? Lol you will get varying answers from full strip every time you use it to clean it once it starts malfunctioning. It’s all about what you think is a priority.

Myself, I would run my snake through a few times and just clean with a cloth/rag what I can reach in the action.

Thanks yea just ran a patch through all and there was hardly even any fouling so I feel confident leaving them for now. I'll probably spray+wipe them down later this week
