I might be overthinking this, but I had a question about my application.

Specifically when it comes to job loss, I’m currently a university student and I mainly work in the summer. In the past 2 years I’ve had 3 jobs I no longer work.

1 of them I quit because I contracted COVID-19.

The other 2 were explicitly temporary positions, 1 was a temporary 16 week internship, and the other was a temporary position with Elections Canada during the last federal election.

Should I still check ‘yes’ on the box?

It's more to check whether or not you had a life event that could cause a mental Health reason as to why you shouldn't own a gun. Losing a job that you couldn't live without can make some people become very depressed.
