This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

Yup, you can buy, a new license will be printed when your firearm transfer is approved.

I thought so. However I literally just got a call back from the shop I tried to make a purchase through saying I could not purchase a restricted so I was given wrong info by the cfp

You applied for an rPAL and took both courses?

Yes, and my profile on individual web services says my RPAL has been issued.
