How can I safely decock my CZ 457? I'm new to firearm ownership but I do know that dry firing rimfires isn't recommended. I assume you hold the trigger while slowly closing the action, however there is still a faint click (less loud and harsh than dry fire) when I bring down the bolt handle. Should I be concerned? What can I do to prevent damage to the breech/firing pin?

This is the method I use for my Ruger. Should work for the CZ too.

All 10/22’s are designed to be dry fired safely with no damage
