On the RCMP services website my firearms license application says it was received on 2022-05-19. My current status says my application has been processed and issued and if I haven't received it in two weeks to contact them.

Is this two weeks from the date they received it? The last update to the page was 2022-05-24 as detailed at the bottom of the page. I tried all day to get through to the firearms program but couldn't get through to get some answers.

No, this is two weeks from when that status was updated to processed+issued. Which in my recollection I don't believe it updates the date for which it was processed, if you've been checking it moderately regularly, best to just start that 2-week timer from whenever you noticed it state the application was approved.

Best of luck!

It was my first time checking it. But yeah I could wait a couple extra weeks.

Darn! Yeah I had pretty much done the same, I'd just call if it doesn't arrive within 2 weeks. In my case, it hadn't arrived and I panicked, but when I called they had said that the printer was super backlogged because of the high amount of people applying. I'd definitely call in two weeks if nothing arrives in the mail though!

I've been so patient and even almost forgot about it. But when I read that message update, it was like I was waiting for Christmas morning as a kid on Christmas eve lol every day that goes by is agony
