Weekly Newbies & FAQ Thread - Post your questions here for PAL/RPAL application, timelines, CFSC/CFSRC, references & requirements, or general new to firearms ownership -type questions

This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

Up to you but probably no chance under this govt. Could always do it and hope the cons come back in otherwise useless to try at this point

Not trying to give you shit, but the misinformation of it being "useless" isn't helpful for newbies asking this question. Pistols are not the only restricted firearms and there are lots of guys out there who have regret not getting their RPAL at the same time when looking into restricted rifles.

Nowhere near useless! I'd be getting my restricted regardless of pistol freeze.
