Hi everyone - my license was finally approved today and it said I will receive it within 2 weeks. Is it possible to obtain the information ahead of time so I can purchase a firearm now? Or do need to wait

Which province are you in? You should call and ask for your number and expiry in order to sign up for a range membership, they should give it to you if you use that reason. If you’re in BC good luck getting through.
