ATT question, I just received my RPAL and I’m going to buy a restricted firearm off a friend, do I need to get an ATT before I do that?

I just want to reiterate/add to what Cryrid has already said - Do NOT take possession of the firearm before the transfer has been approved.

From what I can understand, private transfers seem to be going quicker than business ones since both parties have to phone in to complete it. So that hopefully means it won't be too long before you get a Transfer Notification.
