This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

Did you email your provincial CFO?

They emailed me back today and say “expect a 9 Month delay”

Lmao I got the same response, it's ridiculous

There was one guy who contacted their MP who had their application in Dec 2021and that's how he got his finally done

I’m going to give it another month and if I don’t have a card in my hand I guess I’ll take the next step, I have a friend who was 9 months on the dot and had his application in 3 weeks before me
