Is it impossible to get a hold of the RCMP CFP via phone? I've been trying all day and no luck at all. In hold a few times and it hangs up. I am trying to figure out my application since it's been in the same state for over 6 weeks and also update my address since I moved since I submitted it back in April.

Surely they need to hire more reps if I can't even get a hold of them in a day of constant trying. I stopped for 30 minutes for a meeting and some coffee breaks but otherwise been trying as much as I can. Phone shows pver 30 calls today alone...

Rant over... Anyone have suggestions on how to get a hold of them?

Not impossible just very hard. I was on the phone from 9 am this morning making call after call until I got through at 330 pm the calls were dropped after being on hold for about 30 minutes. I was told my application was sent to the cfo of my province and if I haven't gotten my card in a month call back

Good to know they do pick up eventually. Started to think that there was no point in calling. Never in my life have I had such a hard time getting in contact with anyone.

Mind me asking your application timeline and province?

I'm in ontario, completed course Feb. Sent in April. They received it may 5. Couldn't see application results online until June 15 and it said completed initial review if more info is needed they will contact me. Called late June they said call back in a 2 weeks. Called every 2 weeks until today when they said call in a month if I haven't received my card. It's been sent for final review. Online it still says completed initial review.

Interesting, I did course in Feb, sent in April 1, received April 7 CC charges July 7 and nothing since. Hopefully a call speeds it up or at least gives me an idea of status better than the site. Hopefully I can hunt this year

In Ontario. RCMP Received April 6th, CC charged July 7th. CFO told me that its in final review and waiting to be assigned to an Officer. Was also told 9 month wait time from time of CC charge; but she was told to say that and then said it could be more like 3-4 months.

Seems like they just tell you a random time. I haven't seen the same thing posted twice. Plus I've been told different things on multiple phone calls. It's just a total crap shoot. Rip anyone who sends it in after us.
