does a restricted only PAL exist? the reason why I am asking is because in the application form In section J I have to select what kind off license I want depending on what type of weapons I will be buying. I plan on buying both kinds. but in the section right after I have to state that I accept the canadian firearms program charging my CC for the amount not amountS chosen earlier (in section J)

Many people think it's two different licenses, it's not.

The only license is the possession and acquisition license (PAL). If you do the restricted course, you get a restricted endorsement placed on your PAL.

People just say PAL and RPAL because it's the easiest way to differentiate what endorsements you're talking about.

No.

You get a pal and you can have the restricted endorsement, and if you get that we can it and rpal.

A pal with restricted endorsement (rpal) is 83 dollars. A pal without restricted endorsement is 62 dollars. It's one or the other.

rPAL includes nonrestricted, restricted is a condition on the back of your license.
