Anyone else waiting an exorbitant amount of time for license renewals? Put in the application for my RPAL renewal April 27th, 2022. It's now January 3rd, 2023 and it's still just showing the message about passing initial review, but not finalized yet. I called the main 731 line and the agent advised that it had passed through Miramichi's initial review and had been sent to the BC/Yukon CFO as of the first week of May. I told him I was concerned about my 6-month grace period expiring and he said "they're going to have to extend it then - you have done your due diligence and have completed all the paperwork well in advance."
He advised he could patch me through to an agent at that office. He did so and the automated message I got would not even let me leave a voicemail or wait on hold, it just ended the call.
Been trying to call in every couple of days, first thing in the morning, but the system almost seems like it's been turned off entirely and there is no one there to talk to.
Anyone having similar experiences at this point?
