Newbie here with first restricted purchase. Purchased handgun off Prophet River online. Do they add a (locking case) and trigger lock to ship it to me, or does it just come in a box and I need to buy them separately and do that once I receive it?

It can depend on the handgun you ordered. Some come with their own branded hard-case container (you'll need to provide your own locks for the case). Others come in a padded cardboard box. Some handguns come with their own trigger or cable lock, sometimes you'll need to provide your own.
