It's already been said, but please stop phoning the CFP/CFO about your transfers. So long as they've been submitted, they will go through eventually, getting off the phone will help speed things up drastically.

I'm having a hell of a time trying to get through to initiate a private transfer.

Are the phone agents even the same people who are working through the queue of transfers? Like are you actually slowing down the backlog of transfer by talking to one?

Also I haven’t had any issues contacting the Alberta’s CFO office. I’ve called twice in the last month (once at 9AM and once at 1:30PM) and both times I got through after being on hold for 20 minutes.

Haven’t experienced any of these 3 hour holds or dropped calls. I also know of two other people who have contacted the Alberta CFO and their experience was in line with mine.

I'm in ON and I've never been on hold for longer than 40mins..not sure what I'm doing different

CFOON is run by OPP, OPP is run by Ontario, if there is no free ice cream then funding will be low.
