In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

I finally logged into this
"We have completed the initial review of your firearms licence application. If additional information is required, you will be contacted. Please check the status again at a later date."

And they charged my CC, but they only charged for the RPAL cost when I applied for PAL+RPAL.

When applying for both at once do you only pay one fee or should I foresee issues. Also, what's the typical wait time from this point forward?

Only one fee, probably be about a month to issue your card if everything goes smoothly.

Yes, I should have pointed out the province. Ontario here too.
