I have a few pistols that arent MOS or optic ready (just steel sights), would it be possible for a gunsmith or someone to make them “mos” or “optic ready”? Is this a thing or am i just a tard?

It is possible but quite a bit expensive. I’ve seen it anywhere from $200-$500 to get it done.

Thanks for the reply, so is this something a gunsmith would have to do? Also is there a way to say order a “mos” or “optic ready” slide for said gun? Which route would you recommend?

One of my buddy’s used black box customs to tap their slide for a sight. I’d say check out their website, they have all their services and prices posted. I’d just try to buy another slide but those are hard to come by.

Ask Blackbox customs. Or check their website for pricing. If it is a Glock with no optic cut it is for sure doable. Some guns aren't able to be milled for optics.

You gotta figure out what optic you like and mill that particular footprint .
