Does it take longer to get approved for an RPAL than it does for a PAL? And does anyone know the difference in time?

Is the application and level of scrutiny the same for both?

I'm in Ontario btw, if that matters.

Do you know if any of your references were called? More curious than anything as I've read others say no.
