Thinking about grabbing a glock when my license finally gets renewed. I'm typically a full size/service pistol guy which makes me want to go towards a glock 17, but a few people I know really like the glock 19 which is the compact version.

Does anyone have experience one way or another? How did they feel in comparison to each other?

I LOVE my G17 so much compared to the 19 actually. Difference for me being the grip is a bit longer on the 17. While handling the 19 I can feel my pinky slipping on the magwell essentially. I also have big hands so that might explained as well. I don't think you can go wrong with a 17. Let me know if you have other questions !

Also, if you have big hands, buy a kit of back strap, even on the g17 the base grip is a bit tiny
