Okay thanks for the helpful comment. Would I have to call after receiving the handgun or when the transfer is taking place?

My parents don't want it here, I'd rather not hide it cause it's not worth getting kicked out over. They will let me keep milsurp here for the historical value but I wanna Glock lol.

You'd have to call after you get the handgun. When a transfer is approved, you are allowed to pick it up but you cannot transport it anywhere until you receive paperwork in the mail. You essentially have to keep it in your house until you get authorization to move it elsewhere, be it the range or someone else's house for storage.

Also if you haven't bought a glock yet, you are going to be very hard pressed to find one before the 19th.

Hmm even that'd be an issue with my parents. Thanks for all your help.

I have a tokarev on the way so at least I have something.

Your parents should run for a Political Party. I'll never be able to wrap my head around selective allowance of specific firearms over others when they ultimately have the same capabilities. Mind blowing man. Time to start looking for a new residence!
