P226, Shadow 1, Shadow 2, some of these will be hard to find.

Tanfoglio Stock 2 or Stock 2 extreme is a great amazing gun that would be great for competitions in the future too but it is a lot pricier

great suggestions! i was looking at cz 75 and shadow 2 but like youve said, pretty hard to find.

honestly, dont even know the diff between da/sa and striker fire. these are all panic buys from recent announcement haha. 🤦🏻‍♀️

No haha not at all the firing mechanism is a hammer. DA or double action means if there’s a round in the gun even if you don’t cock the hammer by pulling the trigger the gun will go off. Striker fires have to be cocked and if it’s not cocked nothing happens when you press the trigger

Only the first round it’s a semi auto so when the first round goes off it moves the slide back and cocks the gun

oooh. but i mean like with my sig or sw, id be cocking it each time i wanted to fire? that sounds exhausting.

Every gun you have to rack the slide to chamber the first round and at that point your gun is cocked. After that is automatically chambering the next roind

and rhen its good to go until all rounds are done and mag changed or refilled?

If you run till empty then yup you have to rack it again after inserting a fresh mag.
