This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

P226, Shadow 1, Shadow 2, some of these will be hard to find.

Tanfoglio Stock 2 or Stock 2 extreme is a great amazing gun that would be great for competitions in the future too but it is a lot pricier

great suggestions! i was looking at cz 75 and shadow 2 but like youve said, pretty hard to find.

honestly, dont even know the diff between da/sa and striker fire. these are all panic buys from recent announcement haha. 🤦🏻‍♀️

SADA has a hammer and are often metal frame they shoot smoother imo but slightly pricier and more moving parts.

Strikers are polymer and designed to be light for carry but as a result they recoil worse and often triggers don’t feel as nice
