Tl;dr Should I pay over double and settle for a Shadow Systems before time runs out or should I risk waiting for a Glock 19 which is what I really want? Scared for them to ban purchase/transfer and I'll end up with nothing. Long story short I had a Glock 19 while I served overseas as a PMC and I hold it dear to my heart. After 6 very long months I finally got my RPAL today. Glock 19's have been out of stock everywhere since the Trudeau announcement. Today, the day I get my RPAL, I got an email from Firearms Outlet Canada that they got a shipment of 19's. I'm usually a person who always has his phone on him and checks its religiously. Today, of all days, I had guests over and to be polite I put my phone on the side. To my surprise, I checked my phone and see that FOC got a shipment of 19's at 06:21pm. After over 2 months of being out of stock everywhere, the day I get my RPAL and the one day I don't check my phone, is the day they restock 19's. Needless to say by the time I saw the email they were out of stock. I'm broken.

Arms East is saying they're getting more guns soon. You can refresh that site. Also you can check second hand on CGN EE. Either way there will be no new supply after Aug 19.

Highly unlikely Glocks will be coming in stock before the freeze.

CZ Shadow 1 or 2 are top notch, most of the IPSC guys use them competitively.

https://ctcsupplies.ca/firearms/ closest I can find. Glock not a Glock, most parts interchangeable tho. Also Canada first is doing 100$ deposits on their last order with some Glocks in there I think.
