'Handgun' ammo is also run in a variety of rifles and carbines, so no they're not just going to outright ban certain calibers. 9mm is used in FX-9s/Vectors/PCCs. Some lever actions use .357. There's Vectors that use 40SW.

If they banned 'handgun' ammo they would also be making a myriad of non-restricted firearms useless.

you think the govt would care about fucking over NR? 😅 Im convinced an ammo ban or quota will eventually be implemented in order to further demoralize us and make people stop shooting. Imagine a world where u can’t get ammo or need to have a transfer completed in order to buy ammo? Anything is possible with this govt

That's exactly what they will do. All the PCC's you mentioned are already on Poly's shit list so in their view it's killing 2 birds with 1 stone.

9mm is definitely the most at risk handgun calibre if they decide to go after ammo.

And yet I still shoot 9mm and .357 "handgun" ammo so I am invested in this.
