  1. Does anyone know if you're required to declare autism/ASD as a behavioral/emotional issue on the PAL application and how this could potentially affect the result of the application?

  2. Has anyone on SSRI antidepressants had experience with getting a PAL and how did it affect the process?

I’m not sure I’m much help on the first one, though I do know there is/was a rather active member on the fb ccfr page with autism who found calm in shooting, so it’s definitely doable. My only advice is to be upfront about it, it may also help if you got a dr to sign off on them being ok that you own guns. It may delay things but if you don’t say yes and they find out it may just get denied.

As for #2 I wasn’t on any for my initial application but started taking them and said so on my renewal(SSRI which is typically taken for depression, I use for anxiety) and there wasn’t an issue with the renewal.
