Asking on the behalf of my friend. He lives in BC and want to do some shooting before deciding whether or not to get his pal. He is telling me all the ranges down there seem to have this rule "we cannot accept solo, unlicensed shooters. The minimum size is two people unless one possesses a valid pal

coz I have never heard of this rule in AB. If you know any range can allow solo unlicensed shooter in BC do let me know

I have heard of it at rental ranges, probably an insurance condition.

Unless he finds another commercial range or goes shooting with a licenced buddy (significantly cheaper)
