Has anyone had any luck getting ahold of the firearms program to initiate or complete a restricted firearm transfer?

I ordered a Glock 19 from rampart and they emailed me saying they started the transfer and I have to call CFP with a reference number to confirm my address and complete the transfer. I have tried calling several times. Most of the time as soon as I select the option for transferring I am immediately disconnected due to high call volume. A few times I have gotten through to wait on hold for an agent, but once I have been on hold for 30 minutes I get an automated error message and am disconnected.

I got through in Alberta just after 9AM earlier this week. Was on hold for like 20-25 minutes.

Were you calling the general line? And you called at 9AM MST?

General line with extension 9026. And yes. 9AM local time.

I was able to get through by calling the BC CFO extension.

Now I need to figure out how to get ahold of the general transfer team though. I am trying to get my dad to transfer his handguns to me and apparently the provincial CFOs can't initiate private to private transfers.
