This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

Manitoba Pal/firearms license timeline:

Application recieved: March 29

Showed up online: June 26

Initial review: July 6 (If I remember correctly)

License issued: July 14

License received: July 28

Mosin purchased: July 28

Total length: ~4 months

I’m in a similar situation, but I had to check the box for prescriptions so I’m still waiting.

App received March 29

Cc charged June 17

Initial review completed just in limbo now
