I bought my first ever handgun on June 6, after payment I just left the store, the store said RCMP will send me the paperwork before I can take my gun home. but until now, I still not received any paper from RCMP. So I start to wonder if there is anything I forget to do or if it just takes a long time for them to process the file.
any advice?

You can call the cfp and ask if they need anything from you to complete the transfer. Likely just need to wait for it to be processed, June 6 should be coming up pretty soon.

I had a similar thing happen, but the gun store made an error, and oversold. So I essentially had paid for a Glock that they sold to another customer, and it left me hanging as they initiated the transfer into the other customers name. I would call the store just to make sure your handgun is still there and that they have initiated the transfer into your name, if they have, it's in the RCMP's hands now.

Keep in mind the amount of transfers being initiated, that they have to go through is nuts, so that may be delaying the process times.
