Bit of a greenhorn on restricted purchases and need some info.

Just bought a SIG 320 (they finally came back in stock for a whopping 18 hours at my local) and everything was paid for in store with the transaction confirmation number, application number and serial on the receipt. I've just logged into the RCMP portal and looked at my profile but there is nothing sitting my my registration of restricted field and no applications were found in the status of restricted application page either.

Is there something I need to submit or contact the CFO with for this or is this just me being unfamiliar and impatient with the process?

The store should be submitting a transfer to the CFO shortly, and passing along the reference number to you. If you don't hear from them in a day or two, I'd give them a call and ask about the transfer.

Unless by "application number" you're referring to the transfer number, in which case all you do now is wait for the approval.

Could be that it's called an "application number" which is really the transfer number. I;m not certain of the format but it's basically ##-##########-## with all numbers. Does this seem right?

The reference number is seven digits.

Yep, you're 100% correct on this. I called them just to be sure, turns out on this stores receipts they give at time of purchase it is labeled as: Transaction Confirmation Number

Yesterday, after seven weeks wait, I called the store to get my reference number.

Flintlock pistols are very dangerous.
Could go full auto at any moment.
