This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

Hate to tell you, they probably don't have your gun, and are stalling for time so they can acquire it from the distributor before you find out and cancel the order.

That's what happened to me.

Yep, that was exactly my experience. Didn't find out until three weeks after paying for it that they didn't actually have it, and that they were "hoping to get it from the supplier soon".

Good luck, and maybe start shopping around for the same gun elsewhere pre-emptively.
