This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

No I emailed them all my info and asked if there was anything else they need

Oh ok maybe i should try emailing them then, been trying to call bc cfo daily but can never get through. Surprised to hear how quickly you got yours approved!

Make sure you send all your info correctly. Dob. Place of birth, both feet, etc.

Also I think bc/Yukon cfo is probably shooters and we’re lucky to have em compared to stuff I been hearing about other provinces.

Yeh my first handgun purchase which was the day after announcement was completed within a week but ive made multiple purchases in the beginning of July which have yet to move, i did receive all the transfer numbers from sellers and CFP said they have all gone to BC cfo for approval
