Just here to say watching these online gun auctions like the SFRC one going on right now is hilarious. Does no one Google the cost of things before buying them on auction? Why would you pay more in an auction than retail?

I mean you have ppl saying a Glock 17 used with night sights being $1200 a good deal

I've seen ridiculous prices for Glocks on Gunpost and EE lately like 48s for 1400$. But at the auctions just things like ammo go for way over retail. Like you can go on SFRCs website and just buy the exact same stuff for less. Maybe it's the thrill of the win? Or they forget to factor in the 15% buyers premium plus tax on top of your bid

Is there tax on top of the price and premium?

Yeah it's 15% premium and then taxes and shipping on top of that. So basically 28% extra for me here in Ontario with 13% tax. Plus the shipping which can be a lot if it's heavy ammo

That's awful, all the popular stuff went above new price imo

I like the guy who paid for a Keltec SU-16 for over 700$ that has a cracked receiver that is completely broken apart and missing the forend. It'll never be fired again and even the parts that can be taken from it are nowhere near worth that
