What makes certain ammo brands/types better than others? Quality control seems like an obvious one but even the same brands have so many different types?

Specifically for .22 LR rifle, what should I be looking for? Thanks

For my GSG 16, I used CCI mini mag for first 100 rounds to break it in as others suggested.

Then I use federal jacked round and CCI Blazer afterwards, both run good.
