This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

Based on all the other RPAL timelines there’s an average wait time of 3 weeks between CC Charge and Approval. As none of my references were called I am guessing it’s cause they can’t get ahold of your references?? Completely speculative but you should be approved by now. If anything give the toll free number a call!

Thanks! Just spoke with them and it's the same update as a month ago - it's at the chief firearms office for ON. i'd have thought so too, no idea what the issue is
