Weekly Newbies & FAQ Thread - Post your questions here for PAL/RPAL application, timelines, CFSC/CFSRC, references & requirements, or general new to firearms ownership -type questions

This thread will be used for the "new"-type questions, PAL/RPAL applications, references, CFSC/CFRSC requirements, storage/transport, or other general "new-to-me" firearms ownership questions.

In response to this thread, the community was quite positive for a thread to cover these subjects.

Long story short, I didn't send the full amount for the PAL application on accident and I was wondering if they would accept a credit card not in my name as I don't have one.

Had a buddy who's got the same issue except he has a CC. They'll probably shoot you a letter saying this and just ask for a money order in the right amount. It's my understanding that even if you use a CC it's the same slow process.
