Just purchased my first restricted on July first from an Ontario online retailer and I live in Ontario. I’ll keep updating with info as I receive it, but as it stands I’m assuming I’m in for the long haul.

Once the transfer is approved does the firearm ship? Or does the store need to wait until I get the required paperwork by snail mail?

They can ship it as soon as you have the emailed transfer confirmation. But like any seller, your product ships when they have time to ship it, and it's an incredibly busy time for them.

SFRC said they can only ship 100 handguns a day. It would be interested to know how long their backlog is.
